Liza White is an artist, designer, and avid craftsperson. A graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a degree in Graphic Design, Liza has built a multidisciplinary practice rooted in bold graphics and playful imagery. Working across illustration, screen printing, embroidery, and photography Liza creates work that feels familiar at first glance and a little stranger the longer you look.

Baltimore is an important part of that visual language. The city’s grit, humor, resourcefulness, and unapologetic personality inform an approach to making that embraces imperfection, experimentation, and the idea that art doesn’t have to take itself too seriously to have something to say.
